The hydropool is a beautiful and relaxing space that sits at the rear of Robin House. It has beautiful views of the landscape and is perfect for everyone to use. There is a ceiling hoist which is located at the back of the pool, which is also used for accessing the changing areas as well as the pool. The changing facilities consist of what you would usually find in a swimming pool, with the addition of plinths and a large changing bed for adults and children. They have also installed blackout blinds, to aid those using the facilities when the sun is too bright or low. 

 

Upon speaking with the physiotherapist, she stated that the use of projectors and/or lights would be beneficial, and help to create a brilliant sensory experience for all individuals that use the pool. The lights could be projected on to the pool or the walls. I feel this would be a relaxing experience for all individuals using the space and is something I would implement in my hotel design.
